About Peter Fingler

Peter Fingler is a web developer residing in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He specializes in HTML/XHTML, advanced CSS techniques, Javascript applications, and server-side PHP programming on websites of all kinds.

Many sites have seen his coding, from personal blogs to active communities, non-profit organizations to blossoming companies. Gwellin.ca is not only his portfolio, but a subject piece experiment with whenever an idea strikes him.

About Humbly Hue

The idea for this theme was to experiment with contrast to allow for a single hue to be used. Furthermore, I wanted to keep everything as dynamic as possible to make the colour changing function easier. The only theme image used is the hue bar, and everything else is displayed using CSS techniques, including some new of the properties available in CSS3. This was also my first chance to build a site in proper HTML5, which was a fascinating experience.
