I have worked on several small video projects, here are a couple. This page is part to show the editing work I made on these videos, and part to test out the new HTML5 video support in modern browsers.

Fresh Prince of Persia

This merging of the television theme Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with the video game story for Prince of Persia (Sands of Time trilogy) was built to be shown during a marathon for the game series by TheSpeedGamers. I asked a friend of mine, who goes by Luigi110, to write the parody and record the vocals, while I planned to work on piecing together a video to go with it. This is the result, which has become one of the most viewed TSG video on YouTube.

This project was completed using clips from three Prince of Persia games (The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones), and assembled in Adobe After Effects CS5.

Super Mario Bros. Comic – The Legend

Buried on one of my shelves is an old Nintendo Comics System with an audio cassette with voice actors reading the lines. It was a tremendous blast from the past, but I went further and captured this audio to merge with scans of the comic pages (acquired from TRsRockin.com) to make a series of videos. Above is only the first part, and introduction titled The Legend, which I uploaded to Vimeo along with three full stories.

It was a simple, but time consuming, process to move and transition the comic panels in time with the voice acting. This was accomplished in iMovie ’08.
